February Ipsy Bag

February Ipsy Bag

I do Ipsy videos (and other makeup YouTube tutorials) if you want to check them out. 🙂

I am new at this, so I’m still trying to get a hang of this whole bloggy-YouTuber Beauty Guru stuff! So far I am having a BLAST doing it though! It’s such a fun thing and I am hoping that you guys like reading and watching me too! Comment down below for any post suggestions or if you would like me to review any of these products! 🙂

I have to say February 2016 Ipsy bag was a good one! I love the bag and I’m super duper excited to try all of the products in it.

Let’s talk about the bag!

Reasons Why I love it:

  • Super adorable! I love hearts and it’s a unique design.
  • It reminds me of Minecraft– am I the only one?? Haha my little sister loves that game and I instantly thought of that.
  • It’s perfect for February. I mean come on it’s so sweet that they sent Valentines to everyone! Such a cute idea.

Okay let’s get down to it.

Here’s What’s in my February Ipsy Bag!

1. ciaté Mini Nail Polish in the Shade “my go to red”

First of all, can we just talk about the cutest name for this nail polish! Haha adorable! I really am hoping that this turns out to be my actual Go To Red!

Full Size Retail: $24

2. itCosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye in the shade Neutral Medium

I was super suprised that ipsy sent me this(in a freaking good way!). I mostly have received products from brands that I haven’t previously heard from, but I have heard so many Beauty Guru’s raving about this! I’m super excited to try this! Aaaaaand I will most likely be doing a review (that I will also link to this post) hopefully coming up in the next couple of weeks!

A little info about this product:(what it says on the itCosmetics website)

“An award-winning Anti-Aging, full coverage treatment concealer that delivers highly pigmented natural-looking perfect coverage. Bye Bye Under Eye® uses Anti-Aging technology to help treat the appearance of lines, wrinkles and discoloration, conceal dark circles, age spots and redness, conceal facial imperfections without settling into lines and wrinkles; and helps to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles instantly.”

3. tre’StiQue Baby Blush Stick in Bora Bora Coral

C.O.R.A.L. I remember the days when I was absolutely obsessed with coral. Haha coral is a cutsie color in my opinion. I like how it can be beachy or girly girl. The swatch was pigmented and naturally blended into the skin(I didn’t blend it in the swatched picture because I was trying to emphasize the color).

This is a cream blush, which is new to me! I personally like it! I have used powdered blushes all of my life and thought that it would be weird, but it is definitely worth trying. It turns out super natural. NaturAL haha. Also, since it blends well it is “buildable” as you would say. You can add a little for super natural pop, or go more chic and blushing coral!

3. THEORIE Argan Oil Ultimate Reform Hair Serum

So I am a little iffy about this one just because it has Keratin in it. Keratin is fine and all but it does dry my hair out a little bit(even though it’s a good smoother). But I am hoping that the lovely Argan Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil will make up for it in the moisture department.

But I am excited to try this! Hair and skin care products are some of my faves when it comes to ipsy, because, as many of you may already know, I am not one to buy tons of hair products or skin care products for “trying something new”. I like to stick with what works, and experiment in the makeup department. Has anyone tried this? What did you think?

This is what Theorie says about the product:

Argan Oil Ultimate Reform Hair serum penetrates deep into hair follicles to restore moisture and impart brilliance to lackluster hair. Apply to soften the cuticle, strengthen brittleness and protect from heat styling and environmental stress.

5. Model Cosmetics Lip Lacquer in Morocco

SOoooooOOoo isn’t this such a cute lip color?? It’s super in right now! Kind of a mauvey blush kind of color. SO cute. I tried this on over lipstick I was already wearing to see how I like it(I still need to try it with some naked lips), and I have to say that it gave a very nice shine. It also smells DAYYYYUMMM good. I mean seriously I litterally thought I could gobble the bottle up(but please don’t because no it is not edible. And yes I did try it anyway.)!

  • Pigment-dense, long-lasting lip colour.
  • Non-sticky formula with a vivid colour tint.
  • Slim and slender; the ideal handbag staple.
  • Hydrating, all-day moisture

Anywhosers, this baby got 3.9 Hearts (out of 5) at ipsy.com.

Full Size Retail: $24 (What is up with literally everything priced at $24?)

You can buy it here.
