elf Natural Lash Kit Review

Happy Friday! I hope your week has been going fantastic. Who here are e.l.f. fans? Well if you are (and even if you’re not), today’s post is on the e.l.f. Natural Lash Kit.

In this post I will be telling you all about the price and quality, application, look and feel, reusable or not, pros and cons, and what I rate these lashes.

Lets get started!

Price & Quality

Okay let’s talk about price. You can buy them online at elfcosmetics.com for $2 or you can buy them at Walmart for only $1. I bought mine at Walmart. It’s obviously not a huge different in price (lol) but it is definitely something to know. You might need that dollar in a dollar cone emergency(because we all know that we have those).

The price is definitely a plus, considering there aren’t many lashes priced so low.

So the quality wasn’t what I had expected. I thought they were going to be “plasticky”(as I said in my Spring Drugstore Haul 2016 video), but they actually turned out to be not so “plasticky”.

The band is super flimsy, so you have to be careful of that because you don’t want to bend it wrong and ruin them. I appreciated the size of the band because the size made it very easy to put the glue on there.

The glue was terrible just FYI. I ended up using clear Kiss glue w/ aloe (aka my favorite lash glue rn) because

it literally didn’t do anything.

It was hard to open and it just made things really frustrating when I attempted to apply them. I would recommend just tossing it when you open the lashes.

So applying these weren’t too bad once I got the right glue on there. Since the band is thicker like I mentioned before it was easy to apply to the eye. Be careful since they are super flexible that you can make them look a little wonky though.

I had a hard time for some reason getting them completely to my lash line and ended up settling for “it’s close enough”.

I wanted to just wear these “naturally” as a eyelash extension sort-of-replacement but I had to do eyeliner to mask the slight gap between the fake and my real.

Look and Feel & Reusable or Nah?

As far as the look and feel goes; I liked them. They are natural looking and very light on the lash. They were comfortable to wear which was awesome.

I think that these are definitely an everyday lash for those of you who are looking for that extra oomph! for a good price.

So here is one of the big questions with lashes; are they reusable or nah? Yes, they are reusable(hallelujah).

How many wears can I get out of these?

I would say 3-6 times depending on how you take care of them. If you take really good care of them and you don’t add too much product to them then they should last longer.

Pros & Cons

  • Extremely Affordable
  • Light weight
  • Comfortable
  • Natural-looking and pretty
  • Reusable

  • Glue is useless
  • Super flexible so they don’t keep their shape as well when you apply them
  • Hard to get close to lash line(probably due to thick band)

Rated on the Britt Scale

(I rate each product taking into account price, look and feel, quality, and over all experience. This product is in the $5 and under section.)

4/5 hearts ♡♡♡♡

Really good product for the price. Not quite a 5 heart, but it’s definitely close.
