Happy Monday everyone! Since it’s the start of August, I thought I’d do a little celebrating by painting some watercolor flowers over the weekend. These are among my first watercolor paintings (besides one other time in high school) so I wanted to keep them fairly simple. I decided on using some of my favorite flowers for the inspiration; peonies, roses, and anemones!
This ended up being so much fun and surprisingly very relaxing! I popped on my headphones and listened to my creative playlist on Spotify. I got into the groove of things and did a bit of experimenting.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a Graphic Design Major. I grew up loving art, so I love that my major has me take a variety of art classes! This is one of my most cherished passions, so I thought I’d share it with everyone.
Hope you enjoy!
