Hey guys! I hope your week went great. Now it’s time for the weekend!💃🏻 My week consisted of construction and watching Bachelor in Paradise. Who else watches this?? We have to make the most of these sweet summer days while we have the chance! Technically, the Autumn equinox starts on September 22nd but I go back to college on the 11th. While we’re in Alabama, we’ve been trying to squeeze in all of the things that you should do when one is in “Bama”. Our neighbors have been telling us that we have to at least see someone play in Bama, and since it’s not football season we decided to go on a baseball date! I feel like baseball games are among the perfect summer activities, though. If baseball hats, hot dogs, and cheering doesn’t say summer, then I don’t know what does! View Post
Hey guys! Josh and I have had an eventful couple of weeks! One of our best friends got married in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the famous 2017 Eclipse happened! 💫 🌙💐🎩 We also went to a Barons Baseball game, but that’ll be on the blog here in the next couple of days. Nothing says summer like a good ole’ road trip and a day the solar eclipse!
Happy Monday everyone! Since it’s the start of August, I thought I’d do a little celebrating by painting some watercolor flowers over the weekend. These are among my first watercolor paintings (besides one other time in high school) so I wanted to keep them fairly simple. I decided on using some of my favorite flowers for the inspiration; peonies, roses, and anemones! View Post
Hey hey! How was your weekend? Here in Birmingham, there’s actually a surprising amount of things to do! I thought it’d be fun to share about our little weekend fun in Avondale as we tried some new food and went to the movies!
So we were feeling pretty adventurous on Saturday, and we decided to really have a fun date night while trying out a new restaurant and a new ice creamery. I searched all over Pinterest(follow me on Pinterest btw!) where the best places to eat in Birmingham were. We decided that we were feeling pizza🍕 so we went to this place called Post Office Pies. It’s basically this pizza place that’s located right in like the “hip” area of Birmingham, which that part of Birmingham is called Avondale. View Post
