New and Limited Edition Makeup December 2015

Hello loves! We are all looking forward to the day to hang around in our VS pajamas all day, surrounding the Christmas tree with family and friends. All this while we tear into our beloved stockings we’ve had since we were 5, sip delicious hot cocoa, and rip open our long awaited gifts from loved ones.  I talked to dear old Santa and told me that you, my friends, are looking for some limited edition makeup for this Christmas season(girl, I got your back!). Jump into your Pj’s and warm some hot chocolate, because here we goooo!

Update: Due to transferring my blog over to WordPress I lost a lot of my photos, including this entire post. I’m sorry for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or comment down below.

1. UD Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette (limited edition)

Price: $58

Picture Urban Decay and Gwen Stefani getting together and BAM! You’ve got the UD | Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette. This palette comes with 15 rockin’ shades that have Gwen’s name written all over it. According to Gwen actually did get together with our good pals UD, and Gwen “had her hand in everything, including the case, which was inspired by her love of black-and-white graphic prints and antique gold accents. She also handpicked most of the shade names, which were inspired by her songs. There’s even a nod to the No Doubt song “Magic’s in the Makeup” on the palette’s huge mirror.”. This flashy palette has 10k loves and a rating of 4 stars coming from almost 300 reviews on

I’m pale, as in a shade or two darker than stark white, and this is a wonderful palette for everyday, any occasion, nights out, and the quality is on par with the buttery smooth velvety goodness of UD shadows. Blending/mixing some light and dark colors will create the colors many complain aren’t there. But again, this represents a true “Celebrity inspired” palette because they only chose what she’d wear, not put something together that ALL would expect and want, and I really respect that! Well done! Very easy to blend, no fuss palette that can be used multiple ways! Get creative! 🙂

2. Chocolate Bon Bons Eye Shadow Collection (new)

Price: $49

Kay, ladies, I’m in love with the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette! That being said, I’m sure this one is just as gorgesous (if not more beautiful). I got the email that this had just come out a couple weeks ago and I seriously screamed, ahhh! All of the Chocolate Palettes are made from cocoa powder, therefore they smell delicious too. I love that the shades are in heart shapes that are like chocolate hearts from chocolate boxes.. So adorbs!!! And look at those colors! Oh em gee. This has 10k loves and is rated at 4.7 stars at

This kit comes with amazing value. Good brushes come with a price and these are decent quality and my favorite part of this kit. I have always loved bareminerals powder foundation, but this was my first time trying the primer, mineral veil, and concealer. The mineral veil is something I’m definitely adding to my daily routine. Overall it was worth every penny!

I don’t care what anybody says this is the best palette I have received for christmas!
1. Beautiful packaging. I actually didn’t think I was going to be this impressed with the packaging but hot darn I LOVE IT! I will say though the sturdy packaging comes at a bit of a price, in that, I think twice about taking this with me as it is weighty to haul around.
2. The the blushes and bronzer hit all the right spots. I have darker skin (usually around an NC 40-42) and the Laguna bronzer is my absolute favourite. I actually look bronzed instead of like someone who fell face first into a mud pit. The blushes are all perfect for my skin tone and they look stunning. Paloma (i) was a bit of a disappointment as it did not compliment my skin tone as well. But hey 1 out of 7…I would consider this a success!
3. Amazing value!
Overall -JUST GET IT!

6. Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette (new)

Price: $45

This palette by tarte™ is pretty new to the makeup world but those that have tried it seem to love it, rating this palette at 4.9 stars and has almost 6,000 loves at already! I think that this tartelette in bloom palette has some amazing colors that could be great for transitioning between daytime and night-life looks. I personally love purply shades so I think that it’s awesome that they incorporated some beautiful petaly colors in there. All of these colors remind me of a flower, which I guess would explain the bloom part haha.

lauren000 rated this a 5 star and reviewed at saying:

I own both palettes. I’ve been playing with this one for a week now and I can’t stop reaching for it. The colors are very flattering on my NC45 skin tone – I find none of the shades to be chalky or ashy. With my hooded eyes, I really enjoy that the palette is 75% matte with beautiful pops of shimmer because I have all the mattes I need, but I can have fun with the shimmer shadows. As for the quality, I think it’s smoother, more blendable and more pigmented than the original Tartelette. I don’t get any fallout with these. The packaging is beautiful and secure. I think this would work very well for travel.
